About Placement Cell

Placement Cell, extending support to both MBA and MCA students to find suitable placement in the industry.The Placement and Training division conducts regular programs in areas such as logical reasoning, Communicative English, how to successfully clear aptitude tests, and addressing other areas of inadequacy there by making students employable.

Other major activities organized by the placement and training division includes:

Regular interaction with the industry,
Inviting eminent speakers to the campus to give lectures and presentations to students to give required exposure to them.
Inviting employers from different sectors of economy to the campus for campus selection.
Facilitating the participation in various programs such as management fests, study tours and other competitions, business games etc

Placement Activities

Placement Brochures – With a view to introduce our students to the corporate world the Department releases placement brochure annually. The placement brochure is a recruiter′s guide put together by the Department outlining the human resources available to corporates seeking to employ students graduating from the Department. Every year the placement brochure is released by an eminent Industrial expert. Subsequent to the release the brochures are circulated among leading corporate houses and business schools across the country.
Conducting regular aptitude tests to improve the students thinking power, alertness and analytical power to the pre-final and final year students.
Conducting certification programmes in specialised areas like Oracle , Information storage Management and Project Management.
Conducting student empowerment programmes.These sessions provide the students with opportunities for observing and understanding best practices in the industry as well as for interactive sessions with these captains from the industry. The placement brochures are circulated amongst these resource-persons with a view to maintaining the Institute’s linkage with the Industry.
Organizing Leadership Conventions which will further the Institute- Industry Interaction as well as to broaden the students’ perceptions. Leaders from various walks of life ( academia, industry, politics to name a few) are invited to the Institute for interaction with the students.
Conducting specific pre-placement training programmes( mock interviews) for participants of on and off campus interviews.
Organizing Campus / Off-campus Interviews for Placement of students.
Maintaining relationship with renowned placement consultants and recruiting agencies to widen the job-net for the students.
Develop Job-specific skills for Interviews, Group Discussions, and Presentations.
Conducting periodical meeting with alumni.
