Dr. Nishith Anand is Associate Professor with the School of Management Studies since February 2008. He teaches Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Advertising Management, Operations Research and IT For Managers. Dr. Nishith has secured the UGC-NET (Lecturership), 2012 and was awarded Ph.D from Kannur University for his research on Work Environment and Organizational Creativity in South Indian Design Firms. He has published and presented research papers on Digital Marketing, Digital Human Resource Management and Organizational Creativity.
Dr. Nishith Anand holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Regional Engineering College Calicut and is an alumnus of Department of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Calicut. His Engineering project on Environmental Geotechiques fetched him the ISTE- REC National Award for Best B- ech Project, 2002. Prior to joining Chintech, Dr. Nishith worked for three years ( 2005- ‘07) in Brand Activation and Consumer Insight Management with Malayala Manorama ( Kottayam, Kochi and Kozhikode).
He has to his credit, the successful launch of Radio Mango 91.9, the first private FM station in Kerala. During his tenure at Chintech, Dr. Nishith has leveraged his execution skills by coordinating more than 20 experiential workshops for MBA students at Kochi, Coimbatore, Mumbai, Pune and New Delhi under the flagship Student Empowerment Programme. Dr. Nishith is a regular participant at training workshops and conferences organized by various arms of the Chinmaya Mission and also regularly conducts multi- disciplinary workshops for the MBA and MCA students of the institute, Dr. Nishith has furthered the Institute-Industry Interface of Chintech by securing two consecutive
stipendiary internships in Sales and Marketing as well as hands-on Event Management as well as Market Research Projects for MBA students. He is also actively involved in Media and Public Relations, Brand- Building, Admissions and Placement services of the institute. With his flair for Audience Engagement, Dr. Nishith is a sought-after Quizmaster and trainer. He has hosted four consecutive editions of the Business Quiz of the National Level Management Fest of University of Calicut (2019- 2023), six consecutive annual editions of Cdt. Anas Memorial Inter-collegiate Business Quiz Competition for NAM College, Kallikandy ( 2015- 2020) and was resource- person on Divergent Thinking for five consecutive years at the Bridge Programme offered by Farook Institute of Management Studies, Calicut ( 2014- 2019). He has conducted twelve workshops on Group Dynamics for the Calicut and Kannur Chapter of Institute of Chartered Accoutants India ( 2017-2020). He has conducted Thematic Quizzes and workshops at Kasargod, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram and Coimbatore; and was the winner of the Chinmaya Quotient Quiz for Chinmaya teachers 2019. He was an invited speaker on Social Marketing, Lean Startup Management, Advertising Management and Content Marketing at Vellore Institute of Technology in October 2019, followed by webinars on Digital Content Creation at Faculty Development Programmes organized by the same institute. A gifted orator, Dr. Nishith is Charter Member of the Kannur Toastmasters Club and has delivered talks on All India Radio, Kannur.
As a creative consultant, Dr. Nishith extends his services in copywriting and online content management to Kerala Advertising Agencies Association as well as Central Chinmaya Mission Trust- Education Cell. A self- taught artist, his aquarelle portraits have patrons in India, the Middle East and USA.
Passionate about Indian culture, theatre and performing arts, Dr. Nishith shares a rare camaraderie with nationally renowned artistes and is an active organizer with Indian Dance Allianz, Kannur. In 2010, represented South India at the professional and cultural Group Study Exchange Programme organized by Rotary International to Philadelphia, USA.
Dr. Navya.V is a management consultant and a professional educator with an active academic career for a span of 17 years. She began her career as a Marketing manager of an IT education company and further serving the industry for 2 years, joined ICFAI National College, Kannur, as an Academic coordinator and faculty member in Finance. Joined School of Management Studies, Chinmaya Institute of Technology in June 2010 and extended her service to the Dept. Of Commerce and Management Studies, Chinmaya Arts and Science College for Women from 2013 November to 2017 March. An established certified Counselling psychologist and psychotherapist with diverse experience in
student-centred curriculum and parenting and has delivered several sessions on positive parenting across different forums.
Resource person for several Institutions, Universities and specialized trainer for Trade Associations and forums in the area of Finance, Wealth and Investment Management, Business Management and Entrepreneurship. Has coordinated two National level conferences – Aavishkar -2011 and 2017 at the Institute, where several scholars across India had presented and published papers and has been instrumental in releasing the Conference proceedings of the same.
